Translation
✧ From his father: Most of the time ʿAbdullah b. ʿUmar sat facing the qibla. Yazīd b. ʿAbdullah b. Qusayṭ recited a verse of prostration after sunrise, so he prostrated and they prostrated, except ʿAbdullah b. ʿUmar. When the sun rose, ʿAbdullah loosened his sitting posture, then prostrated and said, “Did you not see the prostration of your companions? They prostrated at a time that was not a time of prayer.”
