✧ We went on a military expedition with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and camped in a land with many lizards. We caught some, and the cooking pots were boiling with them. The Prophet ﷺ asked: 'What is this?' We said: 'Lizards we caught.' He said: 'A nation from the Children of Israel was transformed, and I fear these may be they.' So he ordered us, and we overturned the pots even though we were hungry.
