machine translationYaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān and Abū Aḥmad al-Zubayrī said this, but Wakīʿ differed from them: he narrated it from Ibrāhīm b. Maymūn and said, "Isḥāq b. Saʿd b. Samurah, from his father, from Abū ʿUbaydah," and he erred in this. The correct version is the statement of Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān and those who followed him.
