وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ فَلْيَقْضِهِ إِيَّاهُ، أَوْ لِيَتَحَلَّلْ مِنْهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقْضِيَهُ فِي يَوْمٍ لَا ذَهَبَ وَلَا وَرِقَ، قَالُوا: فَمَاذَا يَقْضِيهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: يُؤْخَذُ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ، فَإِنْ وَفَّتْ، وَإِلَّا طُرِحَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ الْآخَرِ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ Whoever has a debt, let him pay it to him, or let him seek release from it before he pays it on a day when there is no gold or silver. They said: 'Then with what will he pay it, O Messenger of God?' He said: 'It will be taken from his good deeds; if they suffice, then fine, otherwise some of the other's evil deeds will be cast upon him.'
