حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:
زَارَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَوْمَهُ فَأَتَوْهُ بِرُقَاقٍ مِنَ الرُّقَاقِ الْأُوَلِ، فَلَمَّا رَآهُ، بَكَى، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: مَا يُبْكِيكَ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ؟ فَقَالَ: مَا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ هَذَا بِعَيْنِهِ قَطُّ
Translation

✧ Abu Hurayra visited his people, and they brought him thin bread of the first thin bread. When he saw it, he wept. It was said to him: What makes you weep, O Abu Hurayra? He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never saw this with his own eyes at all.
