✧ Whoever announces a funeral and then turns away from it to his family has a qīrāṭ. If he follows it, he has a qīrāṭ. If he prays over it, he has a qīrāṭ. If he sits until its affair is concluded, he has a qīrāṭ. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The qīrāṭ with Allah is like Mount Uḥud, or greater than Mount Uḥud.”
