✧ A man came to Abu Musa and Salman b. Rabi'ah and asked them about a daughter, a son's daughter, and a full sister. They said: For the daughter is half, and the remainder is for the sister. Then the man came to Abdullah and asked him, and informed him of what they had said. He said: Then I have gone astray and I am not of the rightly guided. Rather, I judge by what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ judged: For the daughter is half, for the son's daughter is one sixth to complete the two thirds, and the remainder is for the sister.
