حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ الْبَتَّةَ، يَعْنِي ثَلَاثًا، فَتَزَوَّجَتْ رَجُلًا، فَطَلَّقَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا، أَتَرْجِعُ إِلَى الْأَوَّلِ ؟ فَقَالَ: لَا، حَتَّى يَذُوقَ مِنْ عُسَيْلَتِهَا مَا ذَاقَ صَاحِبُهُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a man who divorced his wife irrevocably—meaning three times—then she married another man who divorced her before consummating the marriage. May she return to the first? He said: “No, not until he tastes her sweetness as her first husband tasted it.”
