حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ:

دَخَلْنَا عَلَى عَائِشَةَ، فَأَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيْنَا إِزَارًا غَلِيظًا مِمَّا يُصْنَعُ بِالْيَمَنِ، وَكِسَاءً مِنْ هَذِهِ الَّتِي تَدْعُونَهَا الْمُلَبَّدَةَ، قَالَتْ: قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي هَذَيْنِ الثَّوْبَيْنِ

Translation

✧ We entered upon Aisha, and she brought out to us a coarse waist-wrapper of the kind made in Yemen and a cloak of these that you call mulabbada. She said: The Messenger of God ﷺ passed away in these two garments.
