✧ When the Prophet ﷺ wanted to observe i'tikaf, he would pray the dawn prayer and then enter his place of seclusion. On the morning of the twenty-first, he left after the dawn prayer and entered the mosque, where he saw tents: the tent of Aisha, who had asked his permission, and of Hafsa and Zaynab. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Is it piety you intend by them?" He then delayed his i'tikaf until Shawwal.
