✧ The sciatic nerve, which is the flank, used to seize the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for a month, so that he was unable to go out to the people. And I saw him becoming distressed until I took his hand and spat into it reciting the Quran, then I turned it over onto his face, seeking thereby the blessing of the Quran and the blessing of his hand. Then I said: O Messenger of Allah, you are one whose supplication is answered, so supplicate to Allah to relieve you of what you are in. He said: O Aisha, I am the most severely tried of people.
