حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ:
جَلَسَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ إِلَى حُجْرَةِ عَائِشَةَ وَهِيَ تُصَلِّي وَهُوَ يُحَدِّثُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: أَلَا تَسْمَعِي يَا رَبَّةَ الْحُجْرَةِ ؟ فَلَمَّا تَمَّتْ صَلَاتَهَا قَالَتْ: يَا عُرْوَةُ أَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَى هَذَا وَإِلَى حَدِيثِهِ ؟ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ حَدِيثًا لَوْ عَدَّهُ الْعَادُّ لَأَحْصَاهُ

✧ Abu Hurayra sat by Aisha's chamber while she was praying, and he was talking, saying: 'Will you not listen, O lady of the chamber?' When she finished her prayer, she said: 'O Urwa, do you not hear this man and his talk? The Messenger of God ﷺ used to speak in such a way that if a counter had counted it, he would have enumerated it.'
