✧ The wife of Rifāʿah al-Quraẓī came to the Messenger of God and said, “Rifāʿah divorced me and made my divorce irrevocable. After him I married ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. al-Zubayr, and what he has is like the fringe of a garment.” The Messenger of God ﷺ smiled and said, “Do you wish to return to Rifāʿah? No, not until he tastes your sweetness and you taste his.”
