حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ:
كُنْتُ أَسْقِي عُمُومَتِي الْفَضِيخَ الْبُسْرَ إِذْ سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي: أَلَا إِنَّ الْخَمْرَ قَدْ حُرِّمَتْ، قَالَ: فَقَالُوا: اكْفَأْهَا يَا أَنَسُ، قَالَ: فَوَاللهِ مَا قَالُوا: حَتَّى نَنْظُرَ وَنَسْأَلَ، قَالَ: فَكَانَ الْفَضِيخُ يَوْمَئِذٍ مِنْ خُمُورِهِمْ، قَالَ: وَذَكَرَ مِمَّنْ كَانَ هُنَاكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ وَسُهَيْلُ بْنُ بَيْضَاءَ وَنَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ
Translation

✧ I was serving my uncles fadikh made from unripe dates when we heard a caller announcing: Indeed, wine has been forbidden. He said: They said, 'Spill it, O Anas.' He said: By Allah, they did not say, 'Let us wait and ask.' He said: Fadikh was among their wines that day. He said: He mentioned that among those present that day were Abu Talha, Suhayl b. Bayda, and some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
