Musnad Abi Ya'la 3670

Translation

✧ I prayed Zuhr with 'Umar b. 'Abd al-'Aziz, then we went to Anas b. Malik ؓ. When we entered upon him, he said: Have you prayed? We said: Yes. He said: O servant girl, bring me water for ablution. I have not prayed behind any imam after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ whose prayer more closely resembled the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than this imam of yours.
