حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِشَامٍ الرِّفَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَمْعَانُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْمَالِكِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ:
جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَبَالَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِمَكَانِهِ فَاحْتُفِرَ وَصُبَّ عَلَيْهِ دَلْوٌ مِنْ مَاءٍ، قَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، الْمَرْءُ يُحِبُّ الْقَوْمَ وَلَمَّا يَعْمَلْ بِعَمَلِهِمْ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

✧ A Bedouin came and urinated in the mosque. The Prophet ﷺ ordered that the place be dug up and a bucket of water poured over it. The Bedouin said: O Messenger of God, a man loves a people but has not yet done their deeds? The Messenger of God ﷺ said: A man is with those whom he loves.
