✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ passed by me while I was ill, and I was saying: O God, if my appointed time has come, then give me rest; and if it is delayed, then raise me [from illness]; and if it is a trial, then give me patience. He struck my chest with his hand and said: O God, grant him well-being and heal him. I never complained of that pain again.
