✧ What al-Hasan b. Abi al-Hasan narrated with a chain from Anas b. Malik

حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ السَّامِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَرْعَرَةُ بْنُ الْبِرِنْدِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْمَكِّيُّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ:

لَا تَلَامَسُوا، وَلَا تَنَاجَشُوا، وَلَا تَبَايَعُوا الْغَرَرَ، وَلَا يَبِيعَنَّ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ، وَمَنِ اشْتَرَى مُحَفَّلَةً فَلْيَحْلُبْهَا ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ، فَإِنْ رَدَّهَا فَلْيَرُدَّهَا بِصَاعٍ مِنْ تَمْرٍ

Translation

✧ Do not touch each other's goods (talāmasū), do not raise prices artificially (tanājashū), do not engage in sales involving uncertainty (gharar), and a settled person should not sell on behalf of a bedouin. Whoever buys a camel or sheep with an inflated udder, let him milk it for three days; if he returns it, let him return it with a sā' of dates.
