حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ قَاسِمٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ مِنْ وَلَدِ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قَيْسِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، قَالَ:
اسْتَأْذَنَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي الْهِجْرَةِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: يَا عَمِّ، أَقِمْ مَكَانَكَ الَّذِي أَنْتَ بِهِ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَخْتِمُ بِكَ الْهِجْرَةَ كَمَا خَتَمَ بِيَ النُّبُوَّةَ

✧ Al-Abbas b. Abd al-Muttalib asked the Prophet ﷺ for permission to emigrate. He said to him: 'O uncle, remain in your place where you are, for Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will seal the emigration with you just as He sealed prophethood with me.'
