حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ:

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي غَزَاةٍ، فَهَاجَتْ رِيحٌ مُنْتِنَةٌ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: هَؤُلَاءِ قَوْمٌ مِنَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ ذَكَرُوا أُنَاسًا فَاغْتَابُوهُمْ

Translation

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a military expedition, and a foul wind blew, so the Prophet ﷺ said: These are a people among the hypocrites who mentioned some people and backbit them.
