حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
لَا يَمْسَحْ أَحَدُكُمْ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَ يَدَهُ، إِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي فِي أَيِّ طَعَامِهِ يُبَارَكُ لَهُ، وَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَرْصُدُ النَّاسَ عِنْدَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى عِنْدَ طَعَامِهِمْ، وَلَا يَرْفَعِ الْقَصْعَةَ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَهَا، فَإِنَّ آخِرَ الطَّعَامِ فِيهِ الْبَرَكَةُ
Translation

✧ None of you should wipe with a napkin until he licks his hand, for he does not know in which of his food the blessing lies for him. And Satan lies in wait for people at everything, even at their food. And he should not lift the bowl until he licks it, for the last part of the food contains the blessing.
