✧ I was sitting in my house when the Messenger of God ﷺ passed by me. He gestured to me, so I got up and went to him. He took me by the hand and we went until he came to one of the rooms of his wives. He entered, then gave me permission, so I entered, while she was behind the veil. He said, 'Is there any lunch?' They said, 'Yes.' Three flat loaves were brought and placed down. The Messenger of God ﷺ took one loaf and placed it before himself, took another loaf and placed it before me, then took the third and broke it into two halves, placing one half before himself and one half before me. Then he said, 'Is there any condiment?' They said, 'No, except a little vinegar.' He said, 'Bring it, for what an excellent condiment it is.'
