حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ:
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا بِالْوَسْقِ وَالْوَسْقَيْنِ وَالثَّلَاثَةِ وَالْأَرْبَعَةِ، وَقَالَ: فِي كُلِّ جَادٍّ عَشَرَةُ أَوْسُقٍ، وَمَا بَقِيَ عِذْقًا يُوضَعُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لِلْمَسَاكِينِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ permitted the sale of 'araya (unpicked dates) for one wasq, two wasqs, three, or four. He said: "For every jadd (portion), ten wasqs; and what remains is a branch placed in the mosque for the poor."
