Remaining Silent After The Beginning Of The Prayer

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلاَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ
كَانَ يَسْكُتُ سَكْتَتَيْنِ إِذَا اسْتَفْتَحَ وَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنَ الْقِرَاءَةِ كُلِّهَا
Translation

The Prophet ﷺ had two periods of silence; when he began his prayer and when he finished the recitation (of the Qur’an). He then narrated the tradition like the version of Yunus.
