أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، وَالْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيْنَ تَنْزِلُ غَدًا ؟ وَذَلِكَ فِي حَجَّةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: وَهَلْ تَرَكَ لَنَا عَقِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ مَنْزِلًا ؟ ثُمَّ قَالَ: " لَا يَرِثُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ، وَلَا الْكَافِرُ الْمُسْلِمَ ". ثُمَّ قَالَ: " نَحْنُ نَازِلُونَ غَدًا بِخَيْفِ بَنِي كِنَانَةَ، حَيْثُ قَاسَمَتْ قُرَيْشٌ عَلَى الْكُفْرِ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq informed us, saying: Maʿmar and al-Awzāʿī informed us, from al-Zuhrī, from ʿAlī b. Ḥusayn, from ʿAmr b. ʿUthmān, from Usāmah b. Zayd, who said:
✧ I said, "O Messenger of Allah, where will you stay tomorrow?" That was during the Prophet's ﷺ farewell pilgrimage. He said, "Has 'Aqil b. Abi Talib left us any place?" Then he said, "A Muslim does not inherit from a disbeliever, nor does a disbeliever inherit from a Muslim." Then he said, "We will stay tomorrow at Khayf Bani Kinanah, where Quraysh swore an oath upon disbelief."
