✧ Greeting the People of the Book

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ،
أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللهِ فِي سَفَرٍ، فَصَحِبَهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ، فَلَمَّا فَارَقُوهُ قَالَ: " أَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ ؟ قَالُوا: هَاهُنَا، فَاتَّبَعَهُمْ، فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ
Translation
✧ He was with Abdullah on a journey, and some people from the People of the Book accompanied him. When they parted from him, he said, "Where are you going?" They said, "Here." So he followed them and greeted them.
