عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ:
لَمَّا أَرَادَ مُعَاوِيَةُ أَنْ يُجْرِيَ الْكِظَامَةَ قَالَ: مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ قَتِيلٌ فَلْيَأْتِ قَتِيلَهُ، - يَعْنِي قَتْلَى أُحُدٍ - قَالَ: فَأَخْرَجَهُمْ رِطَابًا يَتَثَنَّوْنَ قَالَ: فَأَصَابَتِ الْمِسْحَاةُ رِجْلَ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ، فَانْفَطَرَتْ دَمًا " قَالَ: فَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ: " لَا يُنْكِرُ بَعْدَ هَذَا مُنْكِرٌ أَبَدًا
Translation
✧ When Muawiya wanted to run the irrigation channel, he said: "Whoever has a slain relative, let him come to his slain one"—meaning the slain of Uhud. He said: "So he brought them out fresh, bending. He said: "The spade struck the leg of one of them, and it gushed blood." He said: "Abu Said said: "After this, no denier will ever deny."
