9686 9592 - قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ: وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ مِثْلَهُ.

كَانَ عُمَرُ مِنْ خَيْرِ شَهِيدٍ فَغُسِّلَ وَكُفِّنَ وَصُلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ لِأَنَّهُ عَاشَ بَعْدَ طَعْنِهِ
Translation
✧ Umar was one of the best of martyrs, so he was washed, shrouded, and prayed over, because he lived after being stabbed.
