عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ:
قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، رَجُلٌ يُقَاتِلُ حَمِيَّةً، وَرَجُلٌ يُقَاتِلُ شَجَاعَةً، فَأَيُّ ذَلِكَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from al-Thawrī, from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Wāʾil, from Abū Mūsā, who said:
✧ They said: O Messenger of God, a man who fights out of zeal, and a man who fights out of bravery—which of those is in the way of God? He said: Whoever fights so that the word of God may be supreme is in the way of God.
