✧ The reward of martyrdom

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ أَبِي زَيْنَبَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ سَمَّاهُ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:
ذُكِرَ الشَّهِيدُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: لَا تَجِفُّ الْأَرْضُ مِنْ دَمِهِ حَتَّى تَبْتَدِرَاهُ زَوْجَتَاهُ، كَأَنَّهُمَا إِبِلَانِ أَضَلَّا فَصِيلَيْهِمَا فِي بَرَاحٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ، تَبْدُو كُلُّ وَاحِدَةٍ فِي حُلَّةٍ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا
Translation
✧ The martyr was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of God ﷺ. He said: "The earth will not dry from his blood before his two wives rush to him, as if they were two she-camels that have lost their young in an open stretch of land. Each one appears in a garment better than this world and all it contains."
