عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ: أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ:
مَا عُرِفَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْسَمَ، فَإِنَّهُ يَرُدُّهُ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ، وَمَا لَمْ يُعْرَفْ حَتَّى تَجْرِيَ فِيهِ السِّهَامُ لَمْ يَرُدُّوهُ
Translation
✧ Whatever is recognized before it is divided, he returns it to its owner. Whatever is not recognized until the shares have been allotted, they do not return it.
