عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي أَنَّهُ
مَنْ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ: ﴿الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ ﴾إِلَى آخِرِ السُّورَةِ، لَمْ يُصِبْهُ سَرَقٌ " قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، إِذَا نَزَلَ مَنْزِلًا يَقُولُ وَهُوَ عَلَى رَحْلِهِ: نَزَلْنَا خَيْرَ مَنْزِلٍ وَخَيْرُهُ لِنَازِلٍ بِحَمْدِ ذِي الْقَوَافِلِ أَبَرُّهُ وَأَتْقَاهُ أَشْبَعُهُ وَأَرْوَاهُ فَلَا يَزَالُ يَقُولُهَا حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنْ حَلِّهِ
Translation
✧ Whoever recites this verse: 'Praise be to God, who has not taken a son and has no partner in dominion' to the end of the surah, theft will not befall him. He said: I heard my father, when he alighted at a place, say while still on his mount: 'We have alighted at the best stopping place, and its best for one alighting, by praise of the Lord of caravans. Its most righteous and most God-fearing, its most filling and most quenching.' And he would keep saying it until he finished unloading.
