عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا رَجَعَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ قَالَ: " آئِبُونَ، تَائِبُونَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ عَابِدُونَ، إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ، وَكَآبَةِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ، وَسُوءِ الْمَنْظَرِ فِي الْأَهْلِ وَالْمَالِ
Translation
✧ When the Prophet ﷺ returned from a journey, he would say: “Returning, if God wills, repenting; if God wills, worshipping; if God wills, praising our Lord. O God, we seek refuge in You from the toil of travel, the gloom of return, and an evil sight in family and property.”
