عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الثَّقَفِيِّ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَنِي وَلَمْ أَكُنْ شَيْئًا مَذْكُورًا، اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى هَوْلِ الدُّنْيَا، وَبَوَائِقِ الدَّهْرِ، وَمَصَائِبِ اللَّيَالِي وَالْأَيَّامِ، اللَّهُمَّ اصْحَبْنِي فِي سَفَرِي، وَاخْلُفْنِي فِي أَهْلِي، وَلَكَ فَدَلِّلْنِي وَذَلِكَ عَلَى خُلُقٍ صَالِحٍ فَقَوِّمْنِي، وَإِلَيْكَ يَا رَبِّ فَحَبِّبْنِي، وَإِلَى النَّاسِ فَلَا تَكِلْنِي، رَبٌّ لِلْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ فَأَنْتَ رَبِّ، أَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ الَّذِي أَشْرَقَتْ لَهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، وَكَشَفْتَ بِهِ الظُّلُمَاتِ، وَأَصْلَحْتَ بِهِ أَمْرَ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ، أَنْ تُحْلِلَ عَلَيَّ سَخَطَكَ، أَوْ تُنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ غَضَبَكَ، لَكَ الْعُتْبَى عِنْدِي مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ
Translation
✧ Praise be to God who created me when I was not a thing mentioned. O God, help me against the terror of this world, the calamities of time, and the misfortunes of nights and days. O God, accompany me in my journey, and be my successor over my family. To You I turn, so guide me; and upon a sound character, so set me right. To You, O Lord, so make me beloved; and to the people, so do not entrust me to them. Lord of the weak, You are my Lord. I seek refuge in Your noble face, by which the light of the heavens and the earth shone, and by which You dispelled darkness and set right the affair of the first and the last, from You bringing down Your wrath upon me or sending down Your anger upon me. To You belongs the right to reproach me as much as I can bear. There is no power and no strength except in God.”
