أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ: أَنَّ عَلِيًّا الْأَزْدِيَّ، أَخْبَرَهُ
أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَلَّمَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا اسْتَوَى عَلَى بَعِيرِهِ خَارِجًا إِلَى سَفَرٍ كَبَّرَ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: ﴿سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا ﴾حَتَّى ﴿وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ ﴾اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَمِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضَى، اللَّهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا سَفَرَنَا هَذَا، وَاطْوِ عَنَّا بُعْدَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ، وَالْخَلِيفَةُ فِي الْأَهْلِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ، وَأَمْرِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ وَسُوءِ الْمَنْظَرِ فِي الْأَهْلِ "، وَإِذَا رَجَعَ قَالَهُنَّ، وَزَادَ فِيهِ: " آئِبُونَ، تَائِبُونَ، عَابِدُونَ، لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ
Translation
✧ Ibn ʿUmar taught him that when the Messenger of God ﷺ settled on his camel, going out on a journey, he would say “God is greatest” three times, then say: “Glory be to the One who has subjected this to us” up to “and indeed to our Lord we will return.” “O God, we ask You in this journey of ours for righteousness and piety, and for deeds that please You. O God, make this journey of ours easy for us and fold up its distance for us. O God, You are the companion in the journey and the successor over the family. O God, I seek refuge in You from the toil of travel, the condition of return, and an evil sight in the family.” And when he returned, he would say them, and add: “Returning, repenting, worshipping, praising our Lord.”
