عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ ثُوَيْبٍ قَالَ:
رَمَى الْبَحْرُ سَمَكًا كَثِيرًا مَيِّتًا، فَاسْتَفْتَيْنَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ " فَأَمَرَ بِأَكْلِهِ، فَرَغِبْنَا عَنْ فُتْيَا أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، فَأَمَرْنَا مَرْوَانَ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ يَسْأَلُهُ فَقَالَ: " حَلَالٌ فَكُلُوهُ
Translation
✧ The sea cast up many dead fish, so we sought a ruling from Abu Hurayrah, and he ordered eating them. But we turned away from Abu Hurayrah's ruling, so we instructed Marwan, and he sent to Zayd b. Thabit asking him. He said: "It is lawful, so eat it."
