عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: "
طَعَامُ الْبَحْرِ كُلُّ مَا فِيهِ "، قَالَ عَمْرٌو: فَذَكَرْتُهُ لِأَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ، فَقَالَ: مَا كُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ إِلَّا أَنَّ طَعَامَهُ مَالِحٌ، وَإِنَّا لَنَكْرَهُ الطَّافِيَ مِنْهُ، فَأَمَّا مَا حَسَرَ عَنْهُ الْمَاءُ فَكُلْ
Translation
✧ "The food of the sea is all that is in it." Amr said: I mentioned it to Abu al-Sha'tha', and he said: "We used to speak only of its food being salty, and we dislike the floating from it. As for what the water recedes from, then eat."
