Translation

✧ Al-Mughira b. Abd Allah b. Abd was asked: Some people from Banu Mudlij asked the Prophet ﷺ, saying: "O Messenger of God, we ride rafts of ours, and one of us carries a little water for his drinking. If we perform ablution with seawater, we find something in ourselves; and if we perform ablution with it, we thirst." The Prophet ﷺ said: "It is the purifying; its water is purifying, its dead are lawful."
