✧ The Slaughter of the Uncircumcised, the Captive, the Mute, and the Zanj

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ:
كَانَ لَا يَأْكُلُ ذَبِيحَةَ الزِّنْجِيِّ قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ لِابْنِ طَاوُسٍ: لِمَ ؟ قَالَ: كَانَ أَبِي يَقُولُ: " وَهَلْ رَأَيْتَ فِي زِنْجِيٍّ خَيْرًا قَطُّ
Translation
✧ He would not eat the slaughter of the Zanj. He said: I said to Ibn Tawus: Why? He said: My father used to say: Have you ever seen any good in a Zanji?
