عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ وَالثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ:
إِذَا رَمَى أَحَدُكُمْ طَائِرًا، وَهُوَ عَلَى جَبَلٍ فَمَاتَ، فَلَا يَأْكُلْهُ؛ فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَكُونَ قَتَلَهُ تَرَدِّيهِ، أَوْ وَقَعَ فِي مَاءٍ فَمَاتَ، فَلَا يَأْكُلْهُ؛ فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَكُونَ قَتَلَهُ الْمَاءُ
Translation
✧ When one of you shoots a bird while it is on a mountain and it dies, he should not eat it, for I fear that its fall killed it; or it fell into water and died, he should not eat it, for I fear that the water killed it.
