عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: رَمَيْتُ صَيْدًا فَسَقَطَ، فَلَمْ أَزَلْ أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ حَتَّى مَاتَ قَالَ: " كُلْهُ قَالَ: " فَإِنْ تَوَارَى عَنْكَ بِالْجِبَالِ، أَوْ بِالْهِضَابِ، فَغَابَ عَنْكَ مَصْرَعُهُ فَدَعْهُ
Translation
✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: I shot game and it fell, and I kept looking at it until it died. He said: "Eat it." He said: "But if it is hidden from you by the mountains or the hills, and its place of falling is hidden from you, then leave it."
