عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ:
رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعِيرًا قَدْ وُسِمَ فِي وَجْهِهِ، فَقَالَ: " مَنْ وَسَمَ هَذَا ؟ " فَقَالُوا: الْعَبَّاسُ فَقَالَ: " أَتَسِمُ فِي الْوَجْهِ، وَأَنْتَ عَمُّ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ " قَالَ: وَاللهِ لَا أَسِمُ إِلَّا فِي أَبْعَدِ شَيْءٍ مِنَ الْوَجْهِ، فَكَانَ يَسِمُ فِي الْجَاعِرَتَيْنِ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Maʿmar, from al-Zuhrī, who said:
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a camel that had been branded on its face, and said: "Who branded this?" They said: Al-Abbas. He said: "You brand on the face, while you are the uncle of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" He said: By Allah, I will only brand it on the furthest part from the face. So he used to brand on the two hips.
