عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:
كَانَتِ الضِّفْدَعُ تُطْفِئُ النَّارَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَكَانَ الْوَزَغُ يَنْفُخُ فِيهِ، فَنُهِيَ عَنْ قَتْلِ هَذَا، وَأُمِرَ بِقَتْلِ هَذَا
Translation
✧ The frog used to extinguish the fire from Abraham, while the gecko used to blow on it. So killing this one was forbidden, while killing that one was commanded.
