✧ Game, slaughtering it, and lying in wait for it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
إِذَا تَرَبَّصْتَ بِالصَّيْدِ بَعْدَمَا تَخَلَّصْتَهُ مِنْ مَخَالِيبِ الْبَازِيِّ أَوِ الْكَلْبِ فَمَاتَ، فَلَا تَأْكُلْهُ
Translation
✧ If you lie in wait for game after you have saved it from the talons of the hawk or the dog, and then it dies, do not eat it.
