✧ What the muhrim is forbidden from eating of game

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى،
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا، سُئِلَ عَنْ قَوْمٍ مُحْرِمِينَ مَرُّوا بِقَوْمٍ أَحِلَّةٍ، قَدْ أَخَذُوا ضَبُعًا، فَأَكَلُوا مِنْهَا مَعَهُمْ، فَقَالَ طَاوُسٌ: " يَا سُبْحَانَ اللهِ "، فَقَالَ الَّذِي يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْهُمْ: مَاذَا يَذْبَحُونَ شَاةً شَاةً ؟ فَقَالَ طَاوُسٌ: " نَعَمْ، إِنْ تَطَوَّعُوا، وَإِلَّا فَشَاةٌ تُجْزِئُ عَنْهُمْ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ
Translation
✧ He heard Tawus being asked about people in ihram who passed by non-muhrim people who had caught a hyena and they ate from it with them. Tawus said: 'Glory be to God!' The one asking about them said: 'What do they slaughter? A sheep each?' Tawus said: 'Yes, if they do so voluntarily; otherwise a single sheep suffices for them each day.'
