أَهْدَى لِابْنِ عُمَرَ ظِبَاءً أَحْيَاءً فَرَدَّهَا وَقَالَ أَفَلَا ذَبَحَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَدْخُلَ الْحَرَمَ فَلَمَّا دَخَلَتْ مَأْمَنَهَا الْحَرَمَ لَا أَرَبَ لِي فِي هَدِيَّتِهِ سند مخفيعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ أَنَّابْنَ عَامِرٍ عَنْ
Translation
✧ He gave Ibn Umar live gazelles as a gift, and he returned them, saying: 'Could he not have slaughtered them before they entered the Haram? Once they entered the Haram, their place of safety, I have no need for his gift.'
