عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَنَّ عَطَاءً أَخْبَرَهُ،
أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ كَانَ يَنْهَى عَنْ أَكْلِ الصَّيْدِ إِذَا أُدْخِلَ الْحَرَمَ حَيًّا، قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يُسْأَلُ عَنْهُ، فَقَالَ: لَوْ ذُبِحَ فِي الْحِلِّ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ
Translation
✧ Ibn Abbas used to forbid eating game if it was brought into the Haram alive. Ibn Jurayj said: Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir b. Abd Allah being asked about it, and he said: If it were slaughtered outside the Haram, that would be more beloved to me.
