✧ The pigeon and other birds that the muhrim kills

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بِشْرِ بْنُ أَبِي وَحْشِيَّةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، وَعَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكَ،

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَغْلَقَ بَابَهُ عَلَى حَمَامَةٍ وَفَرْخَيْنِ لَهَا، ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ إِلَى مِنًى وَعَرَفَاتٍ فَرَجَعَ وَقَدْ مِتْنَ قَالَ: فَأَتَى ابْنَ عُمَرَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ " فَجَعَلَ عَلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا مِنَ الْغَنَمِ، وَحَكَّمَ مَعَهُ رَجُلًا

Translation

✧ That a man locked his door upon a pigeon and its two young, then he went to Mina and Arafat, and when he returned they had died. He said: So he came to Ibn Umar and mentioned that to him, and he imposed upon him three sheep, and he appointed an arbitrator along with him.
