✧ The pigeon and other birds that the muhrim kills

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ،
أَنَّ حَمَامًا كَانَ عَلَى الْبَيْتِ فَخَرَا عَلَى يَدِ عُمَرَ، فَأَشَارَ عُمَرُ بِيَدِهِ، فَطَارَ فَوَقَعَ فِي بَعْضِ دُورِ مَكَّةَ فَجَاءَتْهُ حَيَّةٌ فَأَكَلَتْهُ فَجَعَلَ عُمَرُ جَزَاءَهُ شَاةً
Translation
✧ That a pigeon was on the House and it dropped dung on Umar's hand. Umar gestured with his hand, so it flew and landed in one of the dwellings of Makkah. Then a snake came and ate it, so Umar made its compensation a sheep.
