✧ The cat and the locust

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ بِمَكَّةَ يَخْرُجُ فَيَرَى فِي أَيْدِي الصِّبْيَانِ الْجَرَادَ فَيَقْتُلُهُ مِنْ أَيْدِيهِمْ، وَكَانَ يَرَاهُ صَيْدًا
Translation
✧ I saw Sa‘īd b. Jubayr in Makkah going out and seeing locusts in the hands of children, and he would kill them from their hands. He considered it game.
